Giuseppe's Tileworks

Tile & Stone Craftsman
Boulder, Colorado

Joe Dolce - Master Tile Setter

Joe is a third- generation Italian craftsman. His father and grandfather, both born and raised in Southern Italy, passed down their natural craftsmanship skills to Joe who in turn absorbed the knowledge, honed the skills, and embraced the Old World mentality of hard work, integrity, and building things to last.

A Philadelphia native, Joe headed West in search of fresh air, wide-open spaces, and opportunity in a thriving building industry. His timing was perfect - Boulder's building boom had just begun, and Joe quickly established himself as one of the area’s top tile setters.

Sought after by high-end builders and discerning homeowners alike, Joe has built his reputation on impeccable tile work, trustworthiness, and an exceptional work ethic. His commitment to quality and craftsmanship has earned him a loyal client base and a respected reputation throughout the Boulder-area building community.

Giuseppe’s Tileworks is named in honor of Joe’s late grandfather, Giuseppe Dolce—a tribute to his family and a lasting connection to the Italian craftsmanship and Old World values that continue to inspire Joe’s work today.

Joe Dolce is the kind of craftsman you want! Joe takes time to help you with your ideas, is a hard and reliable worker, and really cares about the quality of his work. Joe thinks about how his work needs to coordinate with the work of others, and is a good-natured, personable problem-solver! I recommend Joe whenever I can, and will look forward to seeing him again when I am ready for the next project! Thanks Joe!

We wish Joe Dolce could do all of our home improvement work! We have undergone many projects in our 1965 fixer-upper this year and have used Joe for all 4 of our tiling projects. He maintains a clean work environment, is respectful of our home and works around our schedules. Joe is easy to work with, friendly, professional, very reliable and communicates extremely well. His tile work is outstanding and has consistently exceeded our expectations. Joe has an artist's eye and is very detailed in his work, often making suggestions or giving us options we hadn't even thought of. He has our highest regard and we have recommended him time and time again to friends and neighbors. You will not be disappointed if you hire Joe.

I do not ordinarily post reviews on the Internet, but I am doing so now because the tile work and service provided by Joe Dolce of Giuseppe Tile Works was extraordinary. He transformed an outdated and water damaged bathroom in Lafayette, Colorado into a beautiful and functional space. He was responsive, on time every day, careful and precise in his work, diligent, and considerate of the occupants, including a newborn baby, in the house. Furthermore, he completed the work in the time and for the price he quoted. I heartily recommend him for his skillful tile work.

Joe combines expert quality and care with complete trustworthiness. He has re-tiled our kitchen backsplash and both of our bathrooms. They all look fantastic! I would definitely recommend him to anyone! You will not be disappointed.
